A co-worker's wife had a baby a little over a week ago. Today is his first day back and we were talking about the whole thing. He said that there was a first time mom in the room next door. Apparently she had gone from 7 centimeters to 10 centimeters in a matter of minutes and they couldn't get the epidural in quick enough so she had to do it natural. I guess she was screaming and there were banging noises on the wall. He described it as "like a soap opera." Yeah, he freaked me out.
Reason #3 not to have children:
Losing control of yourself during labor and the possibility of not being able to get the epidural when you want it.
